Bristol advertises for two new Computer Science Lecturers

Bristol aims to recruit two new lecturers in Computer Science, this is in addition to the three new staff who have joined since October 2006.
Applicants will work in the Department of Computer Science which has a lively research culture and many links with the computer, communications, microelectronics and media industries in the Bristol region. They will be expected to teach at all levels of the curriculum, to supervise PhD students and postdoctoral workers, and to generate research grant income.
The first post will contribute to research and teaching in an area related to Computer Architecture, Verification, Hardware-Software Co-design or Microelectronics. The post will also contribute to our new MSc in Advanced Microelectronic Systems Engineering and you will be expected to extend our links with the local, and international, microelectronics industry.
The second post will contribute to research and teaching in another area of research strength, for example Algorithms, Biological Computation, Computer Vision, Cryptography, Graphics, Machine Learning, Robotics or Wearable Computing.
