Abstract
Sumatra TT is a universal data pre-processing tool allow- ing to process data
stored in various types of data sources (e.g. plain text, SQL, etc). We
enriched the set of accessible data sources by Prolog databases. Field
conversions to Prolog-specific syntax such as structured terms and atomized
strings are handled on the Sumatra-interpreter level. Moreover, we developed
a template script to transform data into the form acceptable by the ILP
system Aleph. This includes the splitting of input data into positives and
negatives, creating declaration and determination statements etc. We also
discuss possible improvements of our approach.
