The first University open day of the year will be held on Thursday 25 June 2009.
Our Admissions tutor Dr Mike Fraser will be presenting two talks in the Pugsley lecture theatre. The talks will take place at 10.00 – 10.30 and 13.15 – 13.45.
Following this there will be a second open day for prospective undergraduates, which will take place on Friday 18 September 2009.
These open days offer a fantastic opportunity to find out about the University of Bristol. You will have the chance to talk to members of staff and ask about the many different programmes on offer and the support available. You will also get to meet our current students and talk to them about what it’s like to live and study here. Most importantly, you'll be able to get a ‘feel' for the University, which will help you decide whether or not Bristol is somewhere you'd like to spend your university years.
After you apply, you will be invited to a departmental open day or for an interview. These visits are designed to provide applicants with a more in depth view of the department whilst allowing us to learn a little more about you. More information will be automatically sent to you, if applicable.
For those who can't make one of our open days, we run short informal tours of the University main precinct area. These tours will run Monday to Friday at 11 am and 2 pm from Monday 13 July 2009 until Friday 4 September 2009. To find out more, please visit the tours page at http://www.bristol.ac.uk/university/visit/.
Along side of the precinct tours we aim to provide visitors with a brief tour of the department, please contact Caroline, our undergraduate coordinator for availability.
