The programme is run jointly between the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. For full funding (a tax free stipend of £13,260 and fees of £4200) students must demonstrate a relevant connection with the UK, usually through being ordinarily resident for a period of three years immediately prior to the date of application for the award. Nationals of other member states of the European Union are eligible for fees-only (£4200) awards, if they are resident in their own country for a period of 3 years immediately prior to the date of application for the award. The studentships are for entry in October 2009.

Applicants should fill in the standard application documents for this programme via the University of Bristol's standard applications procedure. Please indicate that you want to be considered for these studentships on your application form.
