As part of the department's 25th anniversary celebrations the Crypto Group organized a trip to Bletchley Park on November 8th.
The trip consisted of students from all years. Many of the exhibits seen had direct relevance to the courses taken by our students. The exhibits on early computers in the National Museum of Computing were relevant to our first year unit on Origins of Computer Science, whereas the general exhibits of the park were relevant to the undergraduates and master's students taking our units in crytography and security.
We took a number of photos during the trip.
