Mike Fraser, Senior Lecturer in Computer Science, will act as program co-chair of the ACM Conference on Tangible and Embedded Interaction.
TEI represents an emerging research area which concentrates of the physical manipulation of digital information. This encompasses research understanding the physical manipulation of real objects, through to techniques for embedding electronics in everyday spaces. The conference has a strong demonstrations programme with applications of new tangible digital artefacts for artistic and acoustic applications.
TEI 2009 is being hosted in Cambridge by Microsoft Research. More details on the conference can be found here.
