New year, new expense. Could you be eligible for a scholarship to help you out?
You are eligible if:
You are studying an undergraduate Computer Science degree or a degree with a strong component of IT;
You have completed your first year of study;
You can demonstrate an aptitude for your subject;
Your potential is being capped by financial need.
The Misys Charitable Foundation will soon be considering a new round of candidates for its scholarships, designed to help students with a clear financial need reach their potential. The scholarships are open to Computer Science students, and those studying a degree which includes a strong component of IT, who have completed their first year.
A number of students from the University of Bristol have successfully received funding – some receiving as much as £1500 per annum for 3 years.

Also, please indicate whether the LEA pays your fees in part or in full, and your expected degree classification. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 17th October 2007.
