Micro-Energy Day aims to raise awareness of the important role micro-energies play in our daily life. At the University of Bristol we are conducting world-leading research into reducing the energy consumption of computation in collaboration with partners nationally and internationally.

The next Energy-Aware COmputing (EACO) workshop will be held in Bristol at the beginning of September 2014 focusing on Energy Transparency to enable the development of more energy efficient software. The EACO workshops are chaired by Dr Kerstin Eder and hosted with support from the Institute for Advances Studies at the University of Bristol.
