Our students collaborate with the BCS and @Bristol to produce Digimakers - a series of community technology events aimed at children (6-17), parents and teachers. These events aim to inspire the next generation of technical innovators and engineers by providing an introduction to 'making' in the digital word. From programming software to hacking hardware, Digimakers show the public ways to have fun with technology. The day consists of a series of hands-on-workshops, a show-and-tell section, and a drop-in centre for Raspberry Pi users.

These events are an on-going collaboration between the British Chartered Institute for Computing (BCS), the University of Bristol’s Faculty of Engineering and the Science Learning Centre @Bristol. Sign-up on eventbrite.com
