E-learning Award 2006 for Bristol PhD student

A multimedia e-learning application written by
Simon Price, a part-time PhD student in computer science, has won the 2006
eLearning Award for excellence in the production of learning content, finishing ahead of entries from the BBC and Virgin Atlantic Airways.

The winning NetWorks For You software, produced in collaboration with ST Microelectronics and Relay Consultants, combines interactive online exercises and video with traditional face-to-face teaching. The award ceremony was held in the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington and organised by the industry’s eLearning Network.
