A pioneering student from the Department of Computer Science is set to change the way we pay for online game servers. Chris Strand and his Nimble Server solution won Deloitte's second annual.

'˜Top Technology Talent' competition for business ideas related to technology.
Chris designed a unique infrastructure for an on demand game server provider and
after presenting this idea to a panel of industry experts Chris was awarded the first prize of £1000 at the Deloitt's London offices. The solution enables customers to rent game servers on a pay-per-hour basis rather than the traditional pay-per-month model; this is technology which is currently not being
used by any of the market competitors.
