After a successful year of sell-out events in the Computer Science department, the newly elected CSS hope to continue this trend by ending the current academic year with a gigantic summer social event.

Taking over the entire afternoon and evening on Friday 11th June, events will include massive multiplayer games on big projected screens for fantastic prizes, a summer BBQ with plenty of food and drink on Brandon Hill, and finishing with a bar crawl around Bristol to end the year as it should have started! We, of course, have not neglected the fact it is the start of the World Cup on that day too, so we will have this projected on a big screen too!

For JUST £5:

- PS3, XBOX 360 & Wii multiplayer competitions on big projected screens! Something for everyone, with maybe a few Retro games making an appearance!

- LOADS OF PRIZES to be won, worth at least £100!

- FREE BBQ - we'll have LOTS of food!

- FREE DRINK - we'll also have LOTS of drinks!

- WORLD CUP being projected on a big screen in another room!

- BAR CRAWL to finish the day, with drink deals being negotiated as we speak!

- A few surprises along the way? We think so... :)

CSS duly elected their new committee for 2010-11 earlier this term. CSS operates under one key philosophy - we operate to benefit our members as much as we possibly can. This involves, but is not limited to, pumping any sponsorship money and money gained from tickets straight back into social events to give you, as members, as much free and extra stuff as we possibly can.

CSS hope to meet as many of you in the department as possible, so please feel free to approach any member of the committee, anytime! We're always open to new ideas and always appreciative of any extra help, so please get in touch if you'd like to get involved.
