Bristol and Trend Micro combine to offer PhD Studentship in Cryptography

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Bristol and Trend Micro are looking for a suitably motivated PhD student to become involved in a recently obtained Industrial CASE studentship in the area of cryptography.

This research project enhances the long standing interaction between Trend Micro Ltd and the Computer Science department of the University of Bristol. This interaction started with the forming of a spin-out company called Identum in 2002, resulting from a final year undergraduate project. In early 2008 Trend Micro acquired Identum and in the last year have been going from strength to strength.
