SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter Kick-off Event

On March 17th, an event will be organised to launch the Bristol SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter. This chapter is intended to bring together professionals from industry, academia, and art. Interested parties are welcome to attend the event.

Department Talks at University Open Day

The first University open day of the year will be held on Thursday 25 June 2009. Our Admissions tutor Dr Mike Fraser will be presenting two talks in the Pugsley lecture theatre. The talks will take place at 10.00 and 13.15.

The Department kicked-off the 25th Anniversary Celebrations with a party on 23rd January. It was a great success with over 170 staff, students and alumni attending the event.

Hack Bristol 14th and 15th March

Students will be encouraged to "Hack Bristol" at an event in the Computer Science Department in March. Participants will create their hacks - creative solutions to programming or hardware challenges - in teams, in a programming marathon over the weekend of the 14th and 15th of March.
