The whole project depends critically on the JDK Java compiler and development kit from java.sun.com, the Tomcat Web server with JSP support from jakarta.apache.org/tomcat and the Adapt JSP programming package from www.cs.bris.ac.uk/Adapt.
PhotoPlus from www.serif.com was used for editing images (they offered version 5 free at the time), though I would now use Gimp. A number of free Web sites were used, particularly the logo generator and Klingon Blade font from www.coolarchive.com.
