Professional Experience
Tutor at various private educational centers of secondary education and also at a public school (Greece).
Responsibilities included teaching, tutoring, guidance of teenagers who were taking exams
in all levels of secondary education. Occasionally I was assigned to tutor university students (full time and part time).
Secondary Education
Teller at Citibank Iplc (Zografou Branch, Attiki, Greece). Responsible
for transactions, ATM, CCTV, Automated Payment System (full time).
Retail Banking
During my undergraduate studies period I was working (full time) at a Greek popular fast food restaurant basically
at the cashier and customer support (Goody's Athens, Stadiou Str, Greece).
Customer Support
I served my country for a year. I was a sergeant responsible for managing fifty men. I had various duties on field
and also at two military offices of the campus.
Military Management
I am a member of the Bristol Cryptography Group and am currently working for the ForToo Project.
Photography comes always first in the list of my hobbies. I also enjoy jogging, reading books, doing Maths.
Blogging is one of my passions. The name of my blog is "dioxeidio".
I also write articles for a university magazine in Greece.
My alias is APAN which comes from my name and means 'everything'.
My free time is dedicated to the movies, museums and theatres and also my friends.
Achievements - Skills
During my Postgraduate studies I was involved in two group projects.
The outcome was excellent and the cooperation with the teams was exceptional. Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, testing.
Working in groups
My experience in programming is based on the University's projects.
C, Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, XHTML, CCS, Javascript, JSP, Apache Tomcat.
Programming Skills
My MSc project was based on Computer Forensics. I implemented a novel approach to the problem
of steganalysis of jpeg images. It resulted in the introduction of two new steganalytic tools.
We intend to publish this piece of work at a scientific journal.
Publications
The outcome of my performance is always in a good level. Excellence at High School,
BSc: 2:1 (equivalent), MSc: Distinction.
