Encryption for Search and other Algorithms
June 21-24, 2015
Nowadays, many enterprises are employing cloud services due to their simplicity and cost effectiveness. However, security concerns have given rise to a strong interest in using cryptographic techniques for protecting data in the cloud. Of course, storing encrypted data in the cloud presents many challenges, with the biggest being the challenge of balancing security and search functionality.
During the workshop, we will examine both theoretical and practical aspects of searchable encryption. Topics include deterministic, order-preserving, fuzzy encryption, PEKS, property-preserving encryption, structured encryption and others.
This workshop will provide a venue for discussions in how to address these fundamental questions.
