RESIDENTIAL REGISTRATIONS >>NOT AVAILABLE AFTER 4 Aug 2013<<
Residential registrations provide full conference access for one delegate plus B&B accommodation at a hotel (e.g. Ibis, TavelLodge) in approx. 10min walking distance to the venue (either for 3 nights Mo-Thu, or 4 nights Mo-Fri to attend the student workshop). Note that 'Residential Rate' refers to accommodation included - this rate is available to everyone not just UK delegates! Note that residential options will only be available up to a limited capacity. Best efforts will be made to provide as many residential registrations as possible, however we can not guarantee to offer residential registrations after all available places have been booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. Apart from traditional On-suite Single Occupancy Accommodation, BMVC2013 offers a 'SHARE and SAVE' On-Suite Twin-Room-Sharing option for anyone who wants to save and is prepared to share their room with another BMVC 2013 delegate (read further to see details on sharing options).
Non-residential registrations provide full conference access for one delegate without any accommodation or breakfast included. This is ideal if you prefer to organise your own accommodation in Bristol.
*Best efforts will be made to accommodate all requests for banquet attendance, yet due to space constraints at Bristol Council House we can not guarantee admission to the banquet beyond a maximum number. Places will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will be asked about your attendance during registration.
Shared Residential Registrations provide you with one bed in a twin room (en-suite) at a hotel of basic standard for the duration selected.
There are two options for shared residential registrations (which you will have to specify during the registration questionnaire):
Option 1. You specify another BMVC 2013 delegate to share the twin room with. Both you and your chosen room-mate need to register under this option and for the same duration of stay (either 3 nights or 4 nights). You will be asked to provide a full name of your room-mate, and your room-mate must provide your full name during his/her registration.
Option 2. You will be randomly allocated a room-mate of your gender.
You cannot share a room with a non-delegate under this option. If you would like to stay with your friend/spouse who is not registering as a delegate of the conference, please do not book this option and contact our Conference Secretary Antonina Timofejeva. Alternatively, you can organise your own accommodation and book one 'non-residential' registration for yourself.
