Degree Courses

We offer a range of degree courses which allow you to concentrate your studies in those areas which interest you. There are three groups of courses:

  • Computer Science
    BSc/MEng (3/4 years)


    The Computer Science courses provide a broad study of Computing, covering all the key aspects of software and hardware, and a wide range of application areas. They are likely to be of interest to those wanting to understand computers and computer systems and how to use them.

  • Computer Science and Electronics
    MEng (4 years)


    The Computer Science and Electronics course combines computing with electronics and communications, covering the full spectrum from electronics to computer applications. It is likely to be of interest to those wanting to focus on designing and building computer systems and computer based products.

  • Mathematics and Computer Science
    BSc/MEng (3/4 years)


    The Mathematics and Computer Science courses are joint degrees which combine fundamentals of computing and mathematics with specialisation in an area of computer applications. It is likely to be of interest to those wanting to study computing while continuing their studies in mathematics.
