Undergraduate Scholarships

There are a number of Undergraduate scholarships offered to students by the department to help support their studies.

Hargrave Scholarships

Established in 2013/2014, the Tom Hargrave Scholarship Program for final Year BSc students is set up to provide financial support for outstanding students suffering financial hardship. The program awards one scholarship of £1,000 per year to a student at the end of the second year of studying under program G400. Each student in the second year of program G400 can submit one application for this scholarship. Students with an average of 65% or above at the end of their second year will be short-listed, and the selection criteria will be based on financial hardship.

The Barry Thomas Scholarship in Computer Science

The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to announce scholarships of £1000 for outstanding overseas undergraduate students starting their programmes of study in October 2012.

Each department in the Faculty offers first-year scholarships of £1000 to overseas fee-paying undergraduates who achieve 3As at A Level, or the international equivalent..
