Undergraduate Scholarships

There are a number of Undergraduate scholarships offered to students by the department to help support their studies.

Mike Rogers Scholarships

In celebration of our 25th birthday we are launching the Mike Rogers Scholarships in honour of our first Head of Department.

For home or EU students entering in 2009 and beyond, we will provide five scholarships worth up to two thousand pounds each over the course of the degree. The scholarships will be five hundred pounds per year and will be awarded to five students, on the basis of their academic record and the contents of their UCAS application. The award will continue for the length of their studies subject to satisfactory progress.

If you would like to apply for one of these studentships and intend to confirm your place at Bristol, please send a short personal statement to the admissions coordinator (uga@cs.bris.ac.uk) before 1st June 2010. Your statement should explain why you think you would benefit from receiving a scholarship from the department.

For home or EU students entering in 2008 and for those already here; we will be awarding a number of scholarships of two hundred pounds to the top five students in each year.
