Task

During this tutorial we are going to look at the game noughts-and-crosses, or tic-tac-toe if you prefer. Obviously this is an easy game but:

• How would you go about programming it ?
• How do you make the computer player behave intelligently ?

So have a think about it, you might want to check out the faithful Wikipedia for ideas. There are plenty of ways to go about this: no idea is a bad idea so you can't just sit and plead ignorance !
