In a number of first year units, the students need to do homework exercises which are not marked (but the answers are provided by the lecturers). Tutorials could be used to discuss the problems the students have with these assignments. In order to open up such discussion, it may be useful for the tutor to know which assignments the students should be doing, so that the tutor may ask questions about particular assignments, and encourage the students to work on them.
The first year students need to do the homework exercises for the following units:
- Discrete math (see example sheets here)
- Software engineering (sample exercises: set 1, set 2)
