What is a Web Based Project?

This is a project which is written on top of the Java Web platform, which consists of a browser, a web server and a database system:

Browser Server Database

This is like other platforms such as Windows & Visual Basic or Unix & C or Mac & Delphi. It involves writing HTML pages and/or Java applets to run on the browser, JSP pages or servlets to run on the server, and designing tables and queries to go in the database.

It looks good on your CV
It develops useful skills for industry
