Architecture Group Projects
These are some suggested projects from the architecture group. Come and
talk to use about them, or any others you might think of.
- Icarus Project (Henk)
- This can provide four subprojects implementing parts of Henk's Icarus
and Daedalus languages.
- Optimizations on the g++ compiler (Henk)
- The egcs project is producing a high
quality c++ compiler. There is the opportunity to add some useful optimizations
such as exception culling.
- Texinfo to man converter (Henk)
- The GNU project uses texinfo as its
documentation method. This allows a single source document to provide printed,
HTML or online documentation. Unfortunately it does not provide traditional
man pages.
- Tracking with accelerometers (Henk)
- The aim is to provide software which can convert accelerometer sensor
data into position and orientation values.
