Accomodation

Note: All accomodation in Torre Girona is now booked

You will hence need to make your own accomodation plans with local hotels. The details below are kept for those who have already booked with Torre Girona.

If you wish, we can book your accommodation at the University Residence "Torre Girona", which is located at the UPC "Campus Nord", near the school venue. We will only reserve accommodation to those already registered. To do that, please send an e-mail to Raquel Caparros (raquel.caparros (at) upc.edu) with the following information.

Single room: 49 euros per night
Double room: 81 euros per night
Double room for single use: 55 euros per night
The above prices include breakfast and taxes, and the rooms will be paid on leaving the Residence.

If you wish to share a room with another participant of the congress, please tell us who. Otherwise we'll understand you come with an accompanying person.
The number of single and double rooms reserved for the conference is limited, so we advise you to make your reservation as soon as possible, since the residence is very busy all through the year. No reservations will be made after July the 31st.

If you wish to reserve your accommodation yourself, we recommend the following hotels, which have a special price for UPC events (it is necessary that you say you are attending the Summer School on making your reservation):

Located in the city centre, in the Ramblas.
20 minutes by underground from UPC campus.
Single room: 78,30 euros +7% taxes (breakfast included)

Hotel Abba Garden:
It is located outside Barcelona, but 20 minutes walking from the UPC Campus. There is a free shuttle service to the UPC.
