Dima Damen

Biography

Dima Damen is a Lecturer of Computer Vision, and part of the Visual Information Laboratory (VIL) and the Bristol Vision Institute (BVI). Dima received her BSc (2002) in Computer Science from Birzeit University, MSc (2003) in Distributed Multimedia Systems from University of Leeds and PhD (2009) in Computer Vision from University of Leeds under the supervision of Prof. David Hogg. Her research interests are in activity analysis, automatic surveillance, cognitive vision and shape-based object detection. Dima is a member of IEEE and BMVA, and her research is published in leading computer vision journals and conferences.
