Andrew Calway is a Reader in Computer Vision. His research interests are in computer vision and its applications, especially those involving interdisciplinary and industrial collaboration. He has worked in a wide range of areas in vision, including stereo, motion, 3-D reconstruction and tracking. His recent work on real-time 3-D simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM) has received widespread recognition and has led to applications in augmented reality, wearable computing and gaze analysis.
