Andrew was appointed Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bristol in 2001, a joint post in the Law School and Department of Computer Science. He is currently Reader in IT and Law, and Director of the Centre for IT and Law (CITL). The CITL was founded with support from Vodafone Group Services Ltd, Barclaycard, Herbert Smith LLP, Hewlett Packard Laboratories and the Law Society Charitable Trust. He researches, teaches and provides consultancy services in a wide range of IT-linked fields - data protection, intellectual property, internet law and e-commerce law. Andrew is currently co-editor of the Common Law World Review, and a member of the Editorial Boards of the European Journal of Law and Technology and International Journal of Digital Curation and the International Advisory Board of SCRIPT-ed.
