Bristol University, UK
Workshop Schedule
Call for Papers
This joint Eurographics and ACM SIGGRAPH workshop, seeks participants with
ideas about support for computer graphics educators. These participants
will meet in Bristol, UK, July 6-7, to share their experiences and their
visions, and to provide fundamental recommendations and tools for computer
graphics teachers.
Participation will be based on acceptance of extended abstracts or draft
papers addressing the focus areas of the workshop. Possible topics include:
- collecting and evaluating pedagogical techniques/ideas within graphics
- curricular developments for the first and second computer graphics course
- how to set up and maintain a refereed repository
- techniques for establishing a network of computer graphics educators
Participants will be expected to expand their drafts into full papers by
the time of the workshop for discussion there. Selected papers will be
submitted to Computers & Graphics Journal or Computer Graphics (SIGGRAPH newsletter) for publication.
This workshop will be organised with a few presentations and then most
of the time in working groups discussing the
main topics of the workshop. The participants of the workshop are also
expected to continue some of the work after the workshop in order to
achieve a real outcome of the workshop.
