Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology:
UK chapter

CAA is an international organisation bringing together archaeology, mathematics and computer science. Its aims are to encourage communication between these disciplines, to provide a survey of present work in the field and to stimulate discussion and future progress.

CAA National Chapters exist to advance the aims and interests of CAA in their country, and to provide a focus for those who may be unable, for whatever reason, to attend the international conference. National Chapters are encouraged to hold local meetings and to submit bids to hold the Annual International CAA Conference.

CAA(UK) was established in 1995 as the first national chapter.

The main pages of the international CAA organisation and conference are located at http://www.caaconference.org .
