Guidelines for authors
Manuscript Submissions
Submissions describing original unpublished research are encouraged. We will also be pleased to consider submissions that include work already presented or about to be presented at major international conferences, because one of the objectives of MIUA is to encourage communication across discipline boundaries within the UK community.
Submissions must consist of:
- Four page paper , minimum 10pt text and 2.5cm margins
- Title, Authors and Affiliations, Abstract, Method, Results, Discussion and References.
- May include illustrations (colour will be available for the web version but not in the proceedings).
- An extensive background section is not required.
Authors should submit AN ELECTRONIC COPY of their manuscript only using the online system. Paper copies will not be required.
To submit your electronic copy, use the online
BMVA Conference Administration Website (CAWS).
Please remember to upload your file. Papers may be submitted in either PDF or Postscript formats, however, authors are encouraged to submit PDF. You can check on the status of your submission throughout the conference selection process.
If you are unable to provide a PDF or Postscript version then, in exceptional
circumstances, we will accept electronic versions in Microsoft Word format.
In such cases contact the Conference Chair M.Mirmehdi@cs.bris.ac.uk
